1. Purpose#
To capture morning ward round discharge forecasts across bed categories, providing District and State command centers with reliable forward capacity estimates.2. Scope#
All inpatient departments, postoperative recovery wards, and step-down units.3. Responsibility#
Ward Incharge Nurses and Unit Medical Officers.4. Prerequisites#
Completion of morning clinical consultant rounds.5. Procedure#
1. Open the Expected Discharges module at `/hospital/expected-discharges` before 09:00 AM daily.

- Enter expected discharge counts per ward and category for the current operating date.
- Optionally flag specific individual beds slated for morning release.
- Click Save Forecast to publish projected vacancies to the District allocation model.
